iPad Conference in Copenhagen

A client required 300+ iPads for a 2 day event in Copenhagen. Our brief was to prepare and manage the 300+ rented iPads and support them throughout the 2 day event. In addition to hiring iPads, we installed a temporary WiFi network across the venue to ensure an always on connection to the internet. The challenge was that the 300+ delegates would congregate in numerous areas and breakouts across multiple floors. We installed 30 Wireless Access Points and liaised with the hotel to secure a fast internet connection and utilise internal cabling.

High density WiFi in a conference setting can be a challenge and companies too often rely on the venues existing often ageing infrastructure to cope. If the WiFi is poor, it really degrades the delegate experience and can lead to poor feedback scores. It is a safer, reliable and more secure option for A&T to install and manage your own dedicated WiFi.

Once the initial WiFi infrastructure was installed, the rented iPads were updated with the latest app content and our team worked with the client to ensure smooth distribution to arriving delegates. We had 2 Technicians on site supporting any user queries from our onsite help desk.
